Summer Activity Funding

Now open for applications



We are delighted to open applications for the second year of our funded Summer activity scheme, supporting children aged 7–11 in the HD6 3 area.


Following a successful first year, we are once again inviting local organisations, community groups and activity providers to apply for funding to deliver engaging, creative and inclusive summer holiday programmes.

Summer at the Space Funding

We are looking for activities that:

  • Inspire creativity and confidence
  • Encourage positive well-being and connection
  • Are accessible and inclusive
  • Meet required safeguarding and staffing standards

This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your ideas to life and make a real difference for local children during the summer break.

If you have an activity you’d love to run, we’d love to hear from you. Joint applications are also welcome.
