Community Centre

The Space at Field Lane community hub is at the centre of the Rastrick ward. The centre is designed to help local residents to develop a stronger, more active, engaged and cohesive community, it will give local people better opportunities for personal and career development, community engagement, volunteering and training and the estate environment will improve because of the activities, services and social opportunities available at the heart of the community.

The Space is a fully accessible single storey building with Changing Places Facility. We have several areas that can be configured to meet your needs and you can be sure of a warm welcome.

As a registered charity any money we make from room hire etc. is put back into improving our facilities or supporting the local community. Our friendly team will ensure your room is set up exactly as you want it. They will be on hand to provide further support, should you require it.

SPACES AVALIBLE

COMMUNITY CAFÉ - Serving a range of nutritious & delicious homemade meals reasonable priced. Our range of meals can be eaten in the cafe or made for take away. Come for hot drink, a chat, read a book from the community library

THE HALL -  A fantastic multi functional room suitable for a range of activities from parties to choir concerts, projector & screen available included in room hire.

THE HUDDLE -  a small social area with soft furnishing giving a more intimate feel

CHANGING PLACE ACCESSIBLE TOILET -  for wheelchair users with specific needs (the only one in the Rastrick area)
