Volunteer

Most of our workforce is comprised of volunteers. If you have a few free hours that you can dedicate to others, or a skill that can be shared, we will be happy to channel it in the right direction.

We are always delighted to invite local people as volunteers. At the moment we have 8 volunteers who have registered with us to support The Space @ Field Lane . This can be done in a variety of ways, everyone has something to give. At present we have a volunteer setting up a web page and Facebook for us. We also have volunteers who bake cakes to support some of our activities and events. Volunteers have also run some of the recent community consultation events.

If you have any time to give and would like to see The Space @ Field Lane become a busy and thriving Community Centre please contact our Volunteer Co-ordinator, Anne Gomersall via email (see below) or use our contact page.

Friends

Our friends group is open to anyone but especially provided for people that are interested in supporting the work of the group financially without getting involved further.

For a suggested annual subscription of £24 we will provide you with a regular newsletter (including how we have used your contributions) and information about events at ‘The Space’. Your donations will be used in all areas of ‘The Space’ from maintenance and services to cleaning and upkeep.

Of course you could also be a volunteer or a member and support us in a practical way by providing a service or donating some time.
